Abstract: Wild edible plant species are very important to improve food security and diversify household income sources. However, its identification and document of wild edible plant species limited. The study was conducted in four districts of East Hararghe Zone, to identify and document of wild edible plant species in the study area. Wild edible plant species surveys, and data such as wilderness, edibility or parts used, growth form, threatening factors, conservation measures were assessed. People perceptions were captured from a total of 170 informants using an informal interview, focus group discussions, and questionnaires and observation in the study area. Most species taxonomically known and for those unknown, were collected and identified with elder peoples. Descriptive methods of data analysis were employed to analyze data on wild edible plant species. The result showed that a total of 26 wild edible plant species were recorded in the study area. Four life forms: 65% species were as trees, 15% as shrubs, 8% as herbs, and 8% as climbers. Parts used fruits 83%, bark 5%, seed 4%, leaf 4%, stem 2.94 and root 2% were recorded. Most of wild edible plant species were consumed as raw fruit (80%) as supplementary food supply. Women and children are responsible in wild edible plants collection. Potential of existed wild edible plants in the study area were low and the current abundance of wild edible plant species was decreasing. The most threatening factors to hinder the development of wild edible plant species were agricultural expansion and deforestation. This study identified the most importance of wild edible plant species to local communities, particularly in the selected districts. Wild edible plant plays an important role in rural livelihoods by ensuring food, medicine, and sustained income. Therefore, there is an urgent need for research on domestication of wild edible plants in home gardens, mixing with crops in the study area to enhance the wild edible plan species production for food security and dietary diversity in East Hararghe Zone. Further research also need to collect and conserve, propagation and management activities of the wild edible plants identified in the study area. Further study also carried out on nutritional contents of the wild edible plants. Finally, further study must be on strengthening botanical information, germplasm collection and genetic improvement, increasing the supply of high-quality planting materials, and promoting on-farm cultivation in the form of agroforestry systems to recognize the identifying and selecting preferred species.

Abstract: The pandemic directly impacted the educational system by moving from the traditional classroom to the electronic blackboard. In this transition process, an educational habitus emerged that consisted of facing the health, economic, social and educational crisis in a self-management of opportunities. In this sense, the search for information was a fundamental tool to promote self-knowledge. The objective of the present was to establish the reliability and validity of an instrument that measures the intention to search for information in digital networks with a non-probabilistic selection of 253 students from a public university in the State of Mexico. The results show the establishment of eight factors among which the intention to select information explained 21% of the total variance. Lines of research are noted regarding the construction of an agenda with central information processing axes and issues to anticipate discussion scenarios and shared agreements. In relation to the state of knowledge in which stigma prevails towards the proximity of people and distancing as well as confinement as central strategies of anti-COVID-19 policies, the establishment of an agenda focused on the self-management of knowledge is recommended. The management, production and transfer of knowledge is recommended from the self-management of resources and opportunities, as well as from the interrupted collaboration between the parties involved in the public education system.

Satisfaction Evaluation on Lightscape of Lantern Festival in China--Based on Fuzzy-IPA Model

Abstract: Lightscape of the Lantern Festival in China has great significance in recalling historical memory and promoting the development of the tourism economy. The current study aims to optimize the Lantern Festival’s lightscape by accessing people’s satisfaction. It summarized the history of the Chinese Lantern Festival chronologically and generated lightscape variables from historical documents and field interviews. Considering the ambiguous semantics of satisfaction, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was applied to quantify the obscure concept of satisfaction. A total of 391 valid questionnaires collected from three sites (Liwan Lantern Festival in Guangzhou, Splendid China Lantern Festival in Shenzhen, and Qinhuai Confucius Temple Lantern Festival in Nanjing) represented the general situation of the Southern China area. Principal components and weights of lightscape factors extracted by factor analysis pointed main influential aspects of the lightscape. The Fuzzy-IPA model in this study evaluated people’s satisfaction with the lightscape of the overall situation and three sites, respectively, and generated improvement strategies for future lightscape design. Subjects’ overall satisfaction level for three sites of the Lantern Festival was satisfied (4.072), and their satisfaction levels showed as Nanjing (satisfied, 4.240) > Shenzhen (satisfied, 4.060) > Guangzhou (fair, 3.835). According to the importance and performance of lightscape variables, optimizing suggestions for three sites were proposed from aspects of “cultural expressions”, “lamp modeling”, “manifestations”, and “venue spaces” of lightscape, respectively.

Abstract: The present work aims to reflect on the pedagogical experience in the community of Curuzu through pedagogical coordination in the Lato-Sensu Specialization entitled “African and Afro-Brazilian Studies Methodology” of Integrated Colleges Olga Mettig in 2007. The General Objective was to train of education professionals and related areas on Law 10,639 and its operation in pedagogical work, whether carried out in the classroom or in another collective learning space. The specific objectives were: to provide pedagogical subsidies on Law 10.639 and to promote pedagogical interaction between the various cultural matrices that formed the Brazilian territory. This course was intended to comply with the operation of Law 10.639/03, having as its main target audience educators and graduates in the area of human and social sciences. The main results of this experience revolve around the access for educators to decolonial and anti-racist theories. Other important results revolved around the work of education professionals who received postgraduate degrees, where they demonstrated insertion in various segments of Bahian society, such as centuries-old institutions such as the Society for the Protection of the Underprivileged (SPD), founded 190 years ago, as well as in schools traditional public and private education systems and in Afro and Afoxé blocks.

Abstract: Due to the impact of the pandemic (COVID-19) crisis and the inflation threat, not only do companies change their production models, but also their operating modes. The purchase mode of consumers, moreover, are changed. These changes make social commerce (SC) more popular. However, there exist problems in SC. Therefore, not only is the purpose of this study to examine the role of a user’s perceived past negative experience (PPNE) in social commerce (SC) and the impact of trust in SC on a community user’s social commerce engagement (SCE), but is also to explore the moderating effects of perceived information credibility (PIC) on the relationship between a user’s PPNE and trust in SC. 349 valid samples were collected from the target population in Taiwan and analyzed data by AMOS 22 and SPSS PROCESS to examine a conceptual model and three hypotheses. Of the three hypotheses, all hypotheses were supported. The findings not only confirmed the psychological perception and effects of a user’s PPNE on trust in SC and the impact of trust in SC on user’s SCE, but also identified PIC as the moderating role in a virtual user’s PPNE – trust in SC chain. Besides the need for empirical confirmation of the hypotheses given, finally, there are several practical implications for social marketers and future research directions for scholars.

Abstract: Solar irradiance plays a critical role in Earth's energy balance and climate. Accurate sub-seasonal forecasts of surface solar irradiance are essential for various applications, including renewable energy planning and regional climate research. This study evaluates ensemble forecasts of surface solar irradiance using the ECMWF dataset (EC-ENS) with a 6-hourly time-step. We compare these forecasts with gridded observations from the China Meteorological Agency (CMA) over the Indo-China peninsular region. Solar irradiance, as Earth's primary energy source, is influenced by atmospheric conditions, and even minor fluctuations in the sun's energy output can significantly impact the climate. Hence, understanding and predicting solar irradiance variations are crucial. For the analysis, we utilize the EC-ENS model data and gridded observation data available from June 2021 to May 2022, with hourly and 6-hourly intervals. Performance evaluation metrics, including root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean bias error (MBE), are employed to assess the accuracy of the EC-ENS model against observations. Results show an RMSE of approximately 414.43 W/m², an MAE of 380.95 W/m², and an MBE of -309.72 W/m², providing insights into forecast deviations. Furthermore, this study focuses on capturing regional variations in solar irradiance. The spatially continuous hourly estimates derived from ensemble forecasts effectively reconstruct sub-seasonal patterns on smaller scales. This precise knowledge is crucial for applications such as site selection for solar power plants and understanding regional climate changes. Accurate assessment of solar irradiance enables informed decision-making for renewable energy planning and enhances our understanding of regional climate dynamics. In summary, performance evaluation metrics provide insights into forecast accuracy. Additionally, spatially continuous estimates capture regional variations, enabling precise predictions for renewable energy planning and climate research. Advancing our understanding of solar irradiance patterns contributes to sustainable energy strategies and enhances knowledge of regional climate dynamics.
