  • Introduction

The Person-Oriented Paradigm consists of three main components, i.e., is based on "three pillars": "Personal Safety via the Human - Centered Protection in Defense in Depth" , " Survival Individual via Cybernated -Self-Preservation " and " Remediation vs Emergencies Relating to Any Separate Person ".

The main destination of the Person-Oriented Paradigm and its components listed above are to provide an equal opportunity and interactive means for any separate person to make independent decisions and act independently in emergencies.

Why is it so important today to disseminate information about methods , technologies and interactive means of the Person-Oriented Paradigm via the special mass media , through SciencePG for example, and necessarily large editions ?

Why we have to pay special attention to the issues of the personal safety , the survival via cyber self-preservation and remediation vs emergencies relating to any separate person and in respect of any particular individual today?

Eventually natural catastrophes and anthropogenic accidents, i.e., emergencies were occurred and previously in the way of development of different civilizations? Yes, its truth, but the modern historical period justifiably is qualified by the majority of scientists as a period of such profound crisis which makes its unmatched in a scale the entire preceding history of humanity. Furthermore the civilization's crisis the 21st century threatens not only further existence of human society, but to the himself man as a biological species. It's firstly.

The paternalistic nature of agencies the Administrative Response to Emergency Situations (AR-ES) and steadily increasing of bureaucratism in decisions creating irresistible inertia in the response to emergencies.

Moreover, the AR-ES are orientated to the defense of the "general population" and do not to the separate individual what are typical of such agencies centers and systems regardless of country or region of their location. Any separate individual with his / her individual needs in personal rescue and survival remains aside of attention and services of the AR-ES, while large-scale technogenic catastrophes or natural disasters are happening more and more often.

Any person who can read and thinking about further has to be informed about possibility to read in the SciencePG journals on the progress in the implementation of methods and means providing the personal safety , the survival via cyber self-preservation and remediation vs emergencies relating to any separate person as well as the possibility where to purchase such means. As a result he / she should be ready to make decisions and act independently, rather than to hope and unrealistic to expect help from the state and municipal authorities for emergency situations.

Such is the content of the general introduction on the Special Issue theme on the Person-Oriented Paradigm of Minimizing Damage from Emergencies and its aims and scope of future publications in the framework of this Special Issue
